Stability Ball

An hour working on the stability ball consisting of an energetic and rhythmic warm-up and challenging strength and flexibility exercises.

 

Circuit Training  *During class, non-class participants will have limited usage of weight rooms

The class incorporates single station resistance machines and free weights to give you a complete workout in a short time span.  This class is held in the weight room.  No prior weight training experience is required.

 

Powertone

A very effective muscular strength and endurance workout on the step utilizing hand weights, resistant tubing and dynabands.  This class is designed to develop muscular strength and tone in the upper and lower body while sustaining a low level steady state cardiovascularly.  A physically challenging class which will produce great results.

 

P.E.R.M. (Pilates Evolved Resist-A-Ball & Mat Class)

Gain strength and flexibility in this toning and stretching class that utilizes the movement disciplines of Yoga and Pilates and incorporates balance and stability training on the resist-a-ball.

 

Cardio Circuit    *During class, non-class participants will have limited usage of cardio room

This class is held in the cardio theatre.  It is a circuit utilizing the various cardio equipment.  No prior equipment experience is required.
 
Full Body Stretch
A fifty minute class to promote flexibility and increase range of motion.  Develope balance of mind and body for better circulation and relaxation.

 

Yoga

An ancient form of exercise that focuses on the mind, body and spirit connection.  The benefits are stress release, relaxation techniques and increased flexibility.

Fitness Walk (meet at Tennis & Health Club)

C’mon and let’s hit the trail!  This two mile excursion starts off with some stretching and then you’re on your way touring the beautiful surroundings of the resort.  The walk is brisk and the sights are outstanding.  Natural history of the Sonoran Desert included for those interested.

 


Classes are $5 each OR $25 per month for an unlimited number of classes (per member)
