La Paloma After-School Junior Golf Program New for this sseason, La Paloma Country Club has a great new program for Junior Golfers.  In an effort to provide the best quality instruction for our junios we are going to have two separate age-appropriate group lessons.  By learning with students their own age the juniors will be in a more effective learning environment and receive more one-on-one attention.   "Little Doves" Juniors ages 5 - 10 will have a group lesson on the following Mondays 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. Dec. 5, Dec. 19, Jan. 9, Jan. 23, Feb. 6, Feb. 20 This age group will focus on the very basic fundamentals of the full swing and short game.  Students will be introduced to the parts of the golf course, some basic rules and eitquette.   "Bobcats" Juniors ages 11 and up will have a group lesson on the following Tuesdays 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. Dec. 6, Dec. 20, Jan. 10, Jan. 24, Feb. 7, Feb. 21 This group will work on more advanced fundamentals of the game, including playing the course, scoring, learning the rules and understanding the importance of proper etiquette.   Students do not need their own club (we have clubs they can use for free) Proper dress code required (no demin or t-shirts) Sign up by calling the Golf Shop at 299-1500 Lessons will be $25 per session for members / $30 for non-members You can also purchase a season pass for $150 members/$180 non-members
